Still alive!

I'm still there alive, and waiting for the vacation at the beginning of June!
I haven't yet lost even a pound. I don't eat much, but I think my methabolism has dropped considerably after birth of my son. I have almost stopped breastfeeding which should enable me to go on a diet. But I have so many problems. Since I have no help with my baby in this side of the world, I have to catch up with my tasks in my job after he sleeps at 10:00 PM. I work till 2:00 AM almost every night, I wake up at 7-8 in the morning, which means that I constantly have lack of sleep.

Beginning today, I want to add these two routines to my life:
- work on the elliptical machine for half an hour at least each night after 10
- Each time that he wakes up at night, I can try 10 push ups. How about that?

Mahdis and I are also planning to run the Revlon 5K in New York City on May 2nd. I need to prepare for that.

Happy new year!

Happy new year to all. Wish you a wonderful year ahead of you.
I had a terrible time in past week. My son was down with a virus and 41 degree fever. I was in the hospital all the time and so scared. Hopefully he is better and the fever is down.
With all the things going on in my life and also my job, it has been impossible to keep track of my weigh loss. I'm still on 175 Ibs. I seriously need to start losing the extra 30 Ibs that I have soon....

No change in weight

And there is a good reason for it, because with this much work that I have, I can't eat well, I don't sleep well, and most of the times, I'm exhausted. Having a full time job and full time baby is not such a good idea, unless you put the baby in daycare from when he is 2-3 weeks old, that's what most of the professionals do in NYC, and the baby grows up with either a nanny or daycare care giver. Most of these babies that I've seen seem to be depressed though. That's why we haven't put him in daycare yet, at least until he is one year old.

I have to take him to work sometimes and it's tiring. Last week I missed all my breakfasts since I had meetings starting from 8 or 9 in the morning and I had to wake up way earlier to organize and pack his stuff and leave home.

If you are working full time and you think you are busy and have no time, wait until you have a baby, then you would dream about the time you had at your disposal when you didn't have a baby!!

Weight loss program

I need a serious weight loss program. I'm still breastfeeding, I have a full time job, I have a house which the plumbing/etc crashes down every now and then which I have to fix it myself, And I haven't lost any weight since 4 months ago . Currently I am 175 Ibs.

I changed the elliptical machine that I bought, but the problem is I don't find time to exercise. When my son sleeps at night (which is around 9:30 or 10) is the only time that I have. And I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo tired then that exercising isn't an option then.

The other problem is with the breastfeeding. I'm hoping to continue that and gradually stop it by his 9th months (He is almost 7 months now) which would be the spring time and hopefully the flu and cold season is over, so he wouldn't get sick. But I get really hungry and I'm not sure what kind of diet can work.

Any idea?

Hi every one!
I'm doing well. My son is growing up really fast, he is almost 5.5 months now. I'm tired and overwhelmed with lots and lots of work to do!!!
I haven't lost much weight since last month, only a couple of pounds.

My friends tell me that I have lost weight and don't seem fat, but my scale still shows that I have almost 30 pounds to go to reach my goal weight. Since last month, I haven't lost weight, but I have stayed the same. I am very active during the day and have so many stuff to do. I had to cancel my old gym membership since we have moved and I can't go to the old gym because it so far from us and I don't have the time to commute.

However, the good news is that I have bought an elliptical machine so I can exercise early morning at home.
My current weight is 173 Ibs and I am on size 10 (pants) and 8 (top).

Being a mother

After my son is born, I barely have enough time during the day. Having a full-time job, a move from a tiny apartment to a big house with its own problems, and partially taking care of my son barely leaves any time for me. It feels like 24 hours a day is not enough to do everything.

Since the move to the new house, I don't have access to my old gym anymore and plus I don't find any time, at least for now that my schedule is crazy. I'm also going to a conference to Hawaii for a week with my husband and son which I hope to be interesting and less hectic.

I haven't manage to take a picture of my progress, so I'll put a picture that I took last month in the yahoo group soon.
